Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Does neurotherapy hurt?
A.  No, neurotherapy does not hurt.

Q.  What do you do first?
A.  The first session is an evaluation session.  The
client will take an IVA-Plus cognitive test.  The
therapist will then take an in-depth history.  The
total time needed for this session is between 2 1/2
and 3 hours.  This evaluation session must be done
between 10 AM and 2 PM.  The results of the
IVA-Plus test will be combined with the client
history to form a teatment plan.

Q.  What happens next?
A.  You will make an appointment for a second
session where the therapist will go over the
IVA-Plus test and answer any questions.  Then the
client will receive his/her first therapy session.  This
session and all others can be done after work or
school.

Q.  How often will I need to come for
therapy?
A.  Since neurotherapy is a learning
process, we encourage folks to come twice a
week, at least at first.  It's OK if you cannot,
but you may need a few extra sessions in
order to achieve your treatment goals.

Q.  How soon will I begin to see results?
A.  That depends on what your problems
are.  Most folks begin to notice change
within 4 to 6 sessions.

Q.  Will insurance cover the cost of
Neurotherapy?
A.  Some insurance companies cover
neurotherapy and some do not.  You will
need to contact your company and ask.
